Reward
£45,000 -£50,000 p/a
8:30 am to 5:30 pm, including a lunch break
Monday to Friday (40 hours per week)

Job Role:
Preparing and managing budgets and reforecasts, including detailed comments and explanations for discrepancies vs. prior year and budget
Conducting gross margin analysis, including volume impact, price impact, and product mix
Providing regular financial reports to senior management and the international office
Monitoring and managing daily cash flows and preparing 3-month cash flow forecasts
Collaborating with the Office Manager on purchase ledger and sales ledger credit management
Overseeing quarterly and year-end account preparation in collaboration with the Chartered Accountant and internal team
Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and alignment with international office KPIs
Conducting profitability analyses for contracts and business units
Identifying areas for improvement, providing strategic recommendations to senior management
Supporting key business decisions with in-depth financial analysis
Ensuring accuracy, completeness, and existence of all financial data and transactions.
Maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets and operations
Skills and experience:
Strong confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive financial information
Proactive problem-solving and decision-making skills
Calm, thoughtful, and composed under pressure
Strategic thinking with the ability to make actionable proposals
Proven experience in financial management, preferably within an international or multi-site organisation
Strong knowledge of financial planning, reporting, and analysis
Expertise in cash management, credit control, and financial controls
Familiarity with accounting standards and practices in the UK
Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills
Professional accounting qualifications (e.g., ACCA, ACA, or CIMA) are preferred
