Credit Controller – Birmingham - £26,603

Oakley Recruitment is working in partnership with an expanding organisation based in Birmingham. This is an excellent opportunity to join the team as a Credit Controller on a full-time permanent basis

Personality

The ideal candidate will have the ability to manage and prioritise an extensive workload. You will work as part of a team providing a first-class service and be able to communicate naturally with all stakeholders, ensuring good cash flow whilst being able to resolve issues and minimise debt


Reward

  • 23 days holiday rising to 25 days after length of service

Job Role:

  • Ensuring that debts are paid in a timely manner and handling the ledger

  • Chasing overdue payments by telephone and email within the agreed timescales

  • Maintaining accurate records of all chasing activity

  • Liaising with stakeholders to resolve debtor queries

  • General office duties and any other duties as designated by the finance manager not readily identifiable on a daily basis

 

 

Skills and experience:

  • Sound understating of Credit Control

  • Demonstrate a good understanding of Excel and Outlook

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills written and verbal
